Service Overview

This service, provided by the Ministry, allows employers to recruit a domestic worker from inside or outside the UAE. Unified Typing Center simplifies the process, ensuring a smooth and efficient experience.

Required Documents

Documents Needed for Typing & Processing

Employer's Documents

  • Passport
  • Emirates ID
  • Farm Ownership Certificate (Mulkiya) (Required for farm visa applications)

Domestic Worker's Documents

  • Passport Copy
  • Photograph
  • Tourist Visa (if the worker is inside the UAE)
  • Cancellation Document of Previous Visa (if the worker is inside the UAE)
  • Medical Certificate with Attestation for Ethiopian Workers (if the worker is outside the UAE)
  • Police Clearance Certificate (PCC) for Workers from Uganda (if the worker is outside the UAE)

Domestic Worker Visa Process

Service Procedures

  1. Pay the required insurance policy fees.
  2. Apply for a new entry permit and provide profession and salary details.
  3. The employer will receive an OTP or an electronic link to approve the standard package contract or direct recruitment contract.
  4. Upon approval, the electronic visa will be sent to the employer's email address or via WhatsApp.

Once the visa is issued, the domestic worker must enter the UAE within 60 days from the date of visa issuance. If the domestic worker is already inside the UAE, they will be on a visit visa or a cancelled visa. The change of status must be done before its expiry.
