Eligibility for Sponsoring a Family Visa in Sharjah

Who Can Sponsor?

Minimum Salary: A minimum salary of AED 4,000 per month or AED 3,000 per month plus accommodation is required.
Accommodation: A valid tenancy contract (Ejari) proving suitable housing for your family is mandatory.
Professional Status: Ensure your profession is eligible for sponsorship as per Sharjah authorities’ guidelines.

One white-background photograph for each sponsored person
Sponsor’s original passport and Emirates ID card
Attested marriage certificate (attested by UAE Embassy in the home country and UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs)
Attested birth certificate for children (attested by UAE Embassy in the home country and UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs)
Tenancy contract/Ejari (accommodation rental agreement)
Labour contract or salary certificate (for government or free zone employees) with a minimum salary of AED 4,000; for investors/partners, a company trade license copy is sufficient

Step-by-Step Process for Sharjah Family Visa

Step 1: Apply for Entry Permit

If your family is outside the UAE, we apply for an entry permit to allow legal entry into Sharjah. The permit remains valid until the residence visa is processed.

Step 2: Status Change (if applicable)

For families inside the UAE on a cancelled, visit, or tourist visa, we process a status change form after receiving the entry visa.

Step 3: Conduct Medical Tests

Wife and children above 18 must undergo a medical fitness test at approved Sharjah health centers. We type the medical application, and results are typically available the next day.

Step 4: Arrange Health Insurance

Health insurance is mandatory. We offer basic plans: AED 515 for individuals up to age 17, AED 595 for those up to age 35, and higher rates for those above 35.

Step 5: Emirates ID & Visa Stamping

After medical and insurance, we process Emirates ID and visa stamping. Submit documents via WhatsApp, Email, or UAE PASS App. E-Visa is sent via email, or contact us for a printout.

Note: Visa holders must enter the UAE or complete status change within 60 days of visa issuance. Visa and Emirates ID processing must be completed within 60 days of arrival or status change approval.
